tomorrow we´ll meet
Well, it´s a little bit cruel to tell you about the upcoming weekend. Because you cannot come with me :-(
Tomorrow I will visit the convention of hobby tailorsI bet this is the wrong term, but even my online dictionary won´t help here). I would like to call it "sewing arts and crafts hobby convention" or something like that. It will be my first visit of such a show, and I am really excited what will happen there.
I will give two workshops for stamping on fabric, which is my actual favorite technique! I made tons of samples, that I will share with you in this blog after the show. I hope I will make it monday, maybe tuesday.
Because most content of the Burda website that gives information about the convention is in german, I hope I can give you some input here. This hobby convention invites all sewing guys and girls all over the world, but apparently only people from continental Europe will attend. Because the convention is located in Aachen, which is close to Belgium and the Netherlands, I think we will meet a lot people from there.
Fortunately most belgians and dutch speak german, so we don´t have to translate anything. What kind of tailors conventions do you have, people from all over the world? Let me know!
