Gut behütet
Weeks ago we had the idea to make a hat CAL in my ravelry crochet group. Just in time to cover our heads in the summer sun.
Because I wanted to make a pattern for such a hat, I made mine in April, to write up the instructions, but during the last weeks I have been so busy that I had to cancel the pattern and simply show the hat.
It was made with a cotton blend yarn in light fresh colors, a greenish yellow, very pleasing for a hat. Its comfy and lightweight, perfect for a hot summer day (or a bad hair day) I was not satifsied with the shape of the brim, but after I took the picture I pulled a thread through the last row of crochet to gather the width and now its much better.

Schon im April hatten wir in meiner ravelry Häkelgruppe beschlossen, im Juni ein Hut-Cal (Crochetalong=allehäkelndasGleiche) zu machen. Ich glaube es war Hilarys Idee, und sie hatte auch als erste einen tollen Sommerhut gezeigt. Sowas wollte ich auch! Und weil ich mich ja nun wie ein toller Designer fühle, hab ich natürlich ein eigenes Hut-Design entwickelt. Nix Dolles, so wie alle Häkelhüte halt aussehen. Mit Krempe und Luftlöchern.
Die Krempe mochte ich dann doch nicht so sehr, aber nachdem ich einen Faden durch die letzte Häkelreihe gezogen hatte und die Weite damit etwas einhalten konnte, gefällt es mir besser. Das Foto haben ich vor dieser Nachbehandlung gemacht, denn ich hatte den Hut nun schon fast 2 Monate im Regal liegen, und die Anleitung wird niemals fertig... Also musste ich ihn knipsen, damit mir das Juni-CAL nicht vor der Nase wegrennt.
Und ja, ich gucke wieder mal ganz knuffig. Und ja, ich habe mein Doppelkinn unsichtbar gemacht. Mit Photoshop? Nein! Man muss sich nur von oben knipsen, dann hat keiner mehr ein Doppelkinn.
